If you want to learn more about Ignite Pilates while supporting a great local nonprofit, swing by Fur Kids Foundation’s Ladies Night Out on Thursday, May 3 from 5:30-7 pm. This year, it will be at the Gillette College Pronghorn Center Flex Space, 3807 College Drive in Gillette, Wyoming.
If you have never heard of Fur Kids Foundation, they help families with pets with emergency veterinary care. Since they organized in 2011, they’ve helped more than 510 families and granted more than $86,500 in aid. And, the majority of their funds are raised right here in Campbell County, and ALL of that money is spent right here in Campbell County.
This is the second time I’ve been a vendor at Ladies Night Out, and it’s always a good time. There are 20 other vendors joining Ignite, including our friends from Wyoming Weight Loss (shout out to coach and Ignite TRX Trainer Joy). Plus, there will be light hors d’oeuvres, goodies and beverages available for a donation.
Fur Kids is hosting vendor bingo – you get a bingo card, and you have to learn about each vendor (they’ll give you a sticker) to be entered for a drawing – and there’s a raffle going on as well as a 50/50 raffle (so, you can win some cold, hard cash, too). I’ve donated a 1.9 liter water bottle and some socks, but there are loads of other items for folks to bid on.
This group has done some wonderful things in this community, and it’s co-founded by Ignite Pilates mat trainer Felicia. This year, they've given more than $12,000 in emergency veterinary aid, and this same time last year, they had only given a little more than $3,000. So, they could use some support. I highly encourage you to come by to check them out, as well as peruse the other vendors there.
Oh, and read some of their success stories, here. Some of those faces will make you melt!
