Hey Ignite fam! Teran here and I want to chat about a trend that I keep seeing, and I don’t like it: inconsistency.
Everybody who comes through our doors at Ignite Pilates in Gillette, Wyoming has a goal in their head and everyone's goal is different, which is great!
But no matter what your goal is, YOU CANNOT achieve it by showing up to half of your classes or by not coming two weeks in a row (or more).
You don’t have to be extreme. Just be consistent.
Health and wellness needs consistency. Any form of workout you do, any food plan you follow, they all need months of steady work to SEE results. Yes you might FEEL better after a week or a month but that's not enough. Hell even to make something a habit you need to make it 21 days (at least)!
Stick with whatever it is that YOU enjoy. Give new workouts a chance. You can't do something once and expect a magical result. We all have ups and downs in life. Things happen; and I know that sometimes shitty things happen to us. That’s OK!
But I want to tell you something: STOP bailing on yourself! That’s no ok. You are worth two hours a week...AT LEAST!
Commit to yourself and you will reap the rewards.
